Denver Comic Con

Next weekend June 13-15 marks Denver's Comic Con extravaganza. The tickets are nearly sold out, and last year the lines were reported to be hours long with some fans being turned away due to overcrowding.  Last year the attendance doubled with over 60,000 fans! (From denvercomiccon.com). My advice is get your ticket now , if you haven't already, and be prepared for the lines. Well worth the wait, of course!

The list of special guest appearances is stellar. A couple of my favorites coming to Denver this year are Lou Ferrigno (Hulk), Chandler Riggs (Carl from Walking Dead), and Michael Rooker (Merle from Walking Dead). Some of the planned events include Sci-Fi speed dating, you know in case you want to find the love of your life! Of course, the Hall of Games/ Toy maker's Guild will be featuring their showcase. The Vector Lounge will have all of your favorite classic video games and pinball machines. Let us know, will you be heading to the Denver Comic Con, or another one?

New stuff coming... we promise!

Okay, so it's been a long time since we posted anything new on the site or this blog. But we've been working on some new stuff, I promise! We have all of the Halloween issues ready to roll for this fall! Plus, a character commentary on The Hatman Clause featuring Indigo and The Badger! We're also working on turning Midieville and Star Fetched into audio podcasts! We have a lot of stories ready for both of those shows and we want to help ease your 3twins withdrawals.

What have we been up to all this time you may ask? Well, the bulk of our time has been spent working on the Lectrajack novel previously reported as a motion comic. While we would still like to have Lectrajack presented in a visual medium some day, we feel our skills at writing will best serve the story as a novel. Plus, we've dabbled in other forms of writing with our other stories, why not explore this series in novel form, that's right I said series! We intend for no less than five books with the possibility of more!

I'm not going to promise more blog posts, but I will try to appear here more often. Maybe even once a week as things start to get rolling again, I'll have more to report.

Andy and I plan on attending the Chicago Comicon in August, so I'll be sure to report on that!

The May 3rd Comicon

Yesterday (May 3rd 2009) Andy, Michael (both pictured left) and myself attended the Ash Comics show. As usual we had our comics and cartoons playing on a monitor for the attendants to watch.

This time, however, we were able to bring one of our new artists, Michael Lude, who has done some awesome work for us already (check out Hatman Clause pt 3 and Back to the Beginning for some of his art).

We all had a great time and we are getting ready for the next Ash Comics show, where Michael will be doing caricatures of the attendants!
