So here we have the first look at Jason Momoa as the
fiercest Aquaman I believe could ever have been imagined. Seeing him, I am
immediately taken by a thought, which is that DC Movie Universe is VERY SERIOUS
about being more than just a credible threat to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is aiming to dethrone the Marvel juggernaut (pun intended).
DC/WB
and Zach Snyder (with Christopher Nolan behind thescenes) are (IMHO) champing
at the bit to take on Disney/ Marvel at their own game by being grittier, more
stylistic, and loads darker than the Avengers, et.al. Of course that is just
the impression I am getting from the promotional stills. I could be wrong, but,
again, it is the feeling I get looking at the promotional pics from the set of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
